Russians told what they expect from 2022 – VTsIOM

A third of Russians surveyed believe that the coming year will be better for the country than the outgoing 2021. This is evidenced by the data of VTsIOM. & Nbsp;

More often this opinion was expressed by young people aged 18 to 24 years (46%). At the same time, 39% of respondents believe that the new year will be neither worse nor better, and 21% are sure that 2022 will be worse.

Every fifth respondent hopes that in the coming year the situation with the coronavirus will improve. Every tenth expects an increase in the standard of living, another 9% hope for a & nbsp; reduction in the price level, 8% expect an improvement in the economy and an increase in pensions. At the same time, 19% of Russians believe that no changes will occur in 2022.

Of the expected negative developments, respondents identified inflation, the likelihood of a new wave of coronavirus and a drop in living standards.
